I was away from work for two weeks. After the lockdown there was to be recovered, in Italy the situation is difficult and many companies are in difficulty and have to revise their work plans.
1) Final assembling of the sub-platform with positioning of the engine and relative compartment.
2) Removal of the rubberized edges from the external sides as they are not present on the racing car.

Tyres and wheels
After painting tyres with template’s Pirelli.
Below with the rims.
I do not agree very much on use of photo etch for the center of the spokes because in my opinion
the structure of the rim weakens and everything goes to the detriment of the set-up and the final solidity. I prefer to paint the outside very well with chrome and keep the original rims. I think that in terms of esthetic judgment and perfect building, having a good chrome plating (with no more fingers contact during built) and a balanced and coherent set-up on the solidity of the wheels hubs is much better than relying on the risk of lameness due to the plastic/metal coupling following the complicated removal of the central sunburst for adapt the photo etches while keeping the support circumference intact.

Painting chassis floor acrilic white with particular attention for engine walls.
Painting of engine with all details with colors in photo.
In this step there are building of break disposal with four shock absorber and break disks with photo-etchs of Studio 27.
After the exhaust with whitering look.
Last the cockpit base in Tamiya X18 and particulars like estinguer and foots grille in photo-etch Studio 27.

For a 1st step of work in progress I publish the photos of the floor painted with white primer to neutralize the black of mold.
Also the assembly of the engine for the main structure.
Now is necessary to make two holes in the rear trunk for the next installation of racing fast-running refuelling device.

Hi everyone, I’m an italian modeller and I glad to take part in Your challenge. I chose this subjet because I prefer sports cars and believe that this kit is qualitatively one of the best 1/24 of Tamiya. It is also a great challenge for the white color of the body and for the laying of the decals.
For this kit I have a Studio 27 Tk but I dont know if they will use it completely.
